Hi,

I'm trying to use "w32tm" to check on out servers here and I'm,
seeing the follwoing problem with some (not all) of
our server and can't seem to find out why. Here's the command:

[WIN7-LT]-> w32tm /query /verbose /computer:server1 /status
The following error occurred: The procedure number is out of range.
(0x800706D1)

but other machines are fine. Any ideas what I should check here?

Thanks for any help!
Tom

I just ran into this issue as well- looks like it's old Server 2003 domain
controllers that report this. w32tm /query is not a valid command option
for that version of OS, so I have a feeling it's nothing to be concerned
about.

I use the w32tm /monitor command from my Server 2008 R2 or W7 computer and
it reports the status of all domain controllers I have - both Server 2008
R2 and Server 2003... Hope this helps others...
