Hello,

I'm testing out Windows 2008 Server. I'd like to view folders with
pictures in preview/ thumbnail view - I don't see that as an option - I'm
sure it is there, I'm just not sure how to set it.

Thank

Whoops! Here it is -

un-click the 'Always show icons, never thumbnails' option in Windows
Explorer--->Tools--->Folder Options--->view.

Thank you SO MUCH for telling me how to fix this, it was frustrating not being able to preview pictures before opening them.

Here is the fix short and sweet

1) Right-click, using your mouse, on the Windows Start Button which is in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.

2) Select Windows Explorer

3) Select the Organize pull-down menu (upper left-hand corner of screen)

4) Select Folder and search options from the Organize pull-down menu

5) Click on the View tab (middle tab at the top)

6) Uncheck the box that says Always show icons, never thumbnails

7) Click on Apply (in lower right-hand cornerof the Folder Options window)

This is now fixed!!!

I also created a quick video showing how to do this and will upload it if I can find a place on this site that allows that.
