Hello All,

I have installed new Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition on IBM
x-series 3650 having processor Intel xeon processor 5050 and memory with 8GB.
In bios i could able to see 8GB of RAM but in OS it showing only 4 GB.
Window server doesent accept 8GB RAM.

Requesting help for this problem.

Hello Tushar,

Windows standard only supports 4GB of RAM. You must use the Enterprise Edition.

Dear
Use /fastdetect /PAE parameters in the boot.ini file. To edit boot.ini file Rt Click My Computer Properties Advanced Settings under startup and recovery tab clik edit...
