We setup a Windows 2003 R2 server and we are attempting to telnet to our mail
server and we receive "could not open connection to host." We can telnet from
other WIN2K3 servers to our mail server but not this one. How can we unblock
port 25 on this server?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have the SMTP service running?
Can you telnet to localhost on port 25 from the server itself? That's where
I'd start.

Have you checked your antivirus? It can block telnet to port 25,

I haven't, but maybe you meant to ask this of the OP?
